Discalced Carmelites X Capuchin Franciscans

Hi,
can anyone please write some comparison of this two orders? In living, prayer and ministry. Very detailed please.

I am probably not the best to answer (so look for.other answers) but one main difference I know is that Franciscans follow the rule of St Francis while Carmelites follow the rule of St Albert (being the rule a set of written rules indicating the way of living). I know they’re different but I don’t know the exact differences.

Biggest difference:

Carmelites are a contemplative Order while the Franciscans are an active order.

Though there is obviously overlap…

there’s lots of room for contemplation in the Franciscan charisma and vice versa.
