Discerning and accepting God's will

This discussion makes me think about what Dickens wrote in A Christmas Carol. When Marley appears to Scrooge he states that mankind should have been his business and describes how much pain he and others among him are in because they are no longer able to intervere for good in people’s lives. Of course, Marley had been granted that chance that night. There is a description that Dickens makes of Scrooge viewing other ghosts in the night sky, one of whom was crying at not being able to help a woman with young child.

francesca gen- You are not alone. You always have Our Lord, Our Lady, and us.

Whether you are in your 20’s-90’s being alone can be discouraging.

Sometimes, you have to ask yourself am I alone or lonely?

Write down (not on here of course) all the advantages and disadvantages of being single

I can be in a crowded room and still feel lonely or I can stand in front of a crowd alone and not feel lonely (*if that makes any sense)

francesca gen- Why wouldn’t the Lord call you? You’ve been through A LOT, perhaps there is someone ( a family member, friend, coworker, etc.) who will need your guidance.
