Discerning and Interpreting a dream

I had a dream last night that was unlike any dream I’ve had. First, let me caveat this by saying I am a young, single Catholic male who is seeking a mate that will support me in my faith and morals. (which are both on the conservative side!)

In that dream last night i envisioned a young woman… in my dream she was college-aged and a soccer athlete. She was medium-height with red hair and blue eyes. she was of an athletic build and wore a sweatshirt. have I ever met a girl like this before? no. I know that in my dream, I fell head over heels for her. The hug I exchanged with her in my dream was more real than any one I have ever received or given. This morning, I still have a fluttering heart regarding the dream… I can’t get it out of my head, nor can i figure any of it out… It is the most real heart-fluttering feelings I have had in two years… and yet its over a figment of my imagination.

ANYWAYS… thats just what I wanted to share. comment if you have any good insights. I think I need to pray about it and see what GOD was/is trying to tell me!
 
it is probably your subconscious expressing an opinion on the type of girl likely to attract you by combining remembered images of various girls you have seen.
 
for instance, if you usually look for glamour queens or fluff chicks, it might be telling you that a capable, athletic, outgoing girl is the one you really like.

NO… i’m not one for glamour queens!!! The girl in the dream is the type i’m usually “after”!

call me grandma, but my bet is you have seen her, just didn’t recognize her, so keep your eyes open.
 
So, Puzzleannie… if i’ve seen her but didn’t ‘know it was her’ does this mean that she’s someone i should be seeking out or that this was just a random my brain telling me ‘oh thats a person and we’ll mesh it in’ type thing?
