A project called “Find-Fight-Follow” has been doing ‘special’ Masses in Austria for a couple of years (Why it has an English name, I don’t know - to sound ‘cooler’, I assume). They are sponsored, aside from the Catholic Youth, by many and varied companies. They feature rock music (rejected by the Pope as unsuitable in church) and light shows, as well as people squatting on the floor, ‘special’ hosts - it’s actual bread (I am not a baker, so I don’t know if it’s a licit recipe or not). This is a new way of saying mass, and one that I am not familiar with.

My gut feeling is that I don’t like it and would just as soon it not be said like that here, as it really doesn’t seem to have that religious mood I expect in a mass.
 
Is all that smoke coming from burning brimstone due to a opening to hell ?

Are they all taken at the same event. Because the person in pic 3 is clearly wearing a pallium, but the chief celebrant in pic 6 has no pallium.
 
Is this for real? Or some kind of joke? If there really is disco in church in Austria, then it makes me sick. 😦 Good grief! :rolleyes:
They are allowed to perform this type of thing in a church??? :mad:

Nothing but a complete joke. If it is supposed to be a Catholic Mass those celebrants need to go through the seminary again.
 
This is another disgusting mockery of our beautiful Sacrifice of the Mass! How long before our Holy Father directs these types to change or LEAVE the R.C. Church!? We have to PRAY for our Church – to become one, holy, catholic and apostolic again.
 
Hmmm…I thought Cardinal Schonborn was pretty orthodox…I guess I was severely mistaken!
