I’ve been awfully discouraged in my faith lately. Could use your prayers.

I think we all go through this from time to time. Have you ever seen the movie “Facing the Giants”? It’s a great movie…all about being discouraged and overcoming it.

The bottom line is that “we must praise God when things go our way, and we must praise Him when they don’t go our way”.

Father, please hold NaturalEnquirer close to you, and bath them in the warmth of Your holy light, so that they know Your loving power and feel Your grace. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

I highly recommend the Divine Mercy Chaplet – Jesus will strengthen you through it with his mercy 👍

Our spiritual lives face many ups and downs. I will pray for you and may the Lord give you peace.
 
Indeed, we all feel this. Sometimes every day!!! Maybe check out some talks on suffering and such to make sense of it. But I will offer my prayers to you. And remember:

Our faith must be challenged, and challenged a lot, otherwise it is’nt faith at all. If it came too easy, it would be taken for granted.
I will pray for your increase in faith.
 
Discouragement in Faith is never an easy path for sure. Saints are sinners who wont give up…keeping you in daily prayer that The Holy Spirit will be your strength and consolation at this very difficul time for sure…
I was thinking that if you posted into the Spirituality Forum, other posters there may be able to offer you encouragement and support…In my daily prayer…barb
 
Lean on friends strong with faith. I am in the same place that you seem to be…and finding God where I most unexpect Him has been a glorious blessing. I had to learn to receive it with humility, and with graciousness.
 
I know that it is easy for someone to tell you not to be discouraged if they don’t kow your sufferings, and it is easy to be discouraged in your faith journey, but that is the time for you to pray more. A good reading in the bible that seems to help me is a letter from peter. quote So humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exault you in due time. Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you. Be sober and vigilant. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him steadfast in faith, knowing that your fellow believers throughout the world undergo the same sufferings. The God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory through Christ (Jesus) will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you after you have suffered a little. to him be dominian forever. Amen. I will pray for you.
