Okay so I realize that this is a sticky subject… Personally I’m straight and have a girlfriend… But I have a little brother who’s happens to be a homosexual…
He follows the Church’s teachings and lives a chaste life… But recently he’s been pretty distraught over a couple of things the Church teaches…
He likes the fact that the Church says that most discrimination against homosexuals is wrong… But recently he came along a document (I have no clue what it’s called) and that said homosexuals shouldn’t be coaches or teachers.
He’s pretty distraught about this because he’s an education major in his first year of college…
Also he’s distraught about it because he’s an assistant cross country coach at our former high school.
Now here’s the question… Is this document talking about sexually active homosexuals (of which I completely understand why it would say that) or is it about all homosexuals regardless of of whether they’re celibate or not?
