Discussion about The 12 Tribes

This below is an e-mail I received from a friend that is from a group called The Twelve Tribes Of Israel. I am a Catholic and he is always sending me their stuff. I sent him some Scott Hahn and got this back. How would a Catholic respond to this? Is there any truth to it?

I pray, over time god (Yahweh, the god of Israel), will keep showing you more things about his people, and his covenant with abraham and the promise handed down thru Jacobs 12 children, at your bible studies. Which is where the 12 start from, not britian, and when Israel had a “civil war” and became divided after Solomon died, the 10 tribes of Israel became scattered to the 4 corners of the world, and jesus came to “gather them as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings”

I would have to disagree that jesus would not “put down” another mans religion, because, as your aware I’m sure, he had plenty to say about even the religion of the pharisee’s and the saducees, and from his own words, ‘I come not for the righteous, but to call sinners to repentance” which would be his fathers commandments, and not what religion or way of worship anyone thinks is “OK”. That is evident when he say’s “not everyone who says, lord lord, we did many great things and cast out devils in your name will enter the kingdom of heaven” but “I will say to them at that time, get away from me you workers of iniquity (those who say the law is done away with)“

He criticizes “the 7 churches” in the book of revelation chapter 2 and 3, also

Your post is a little confusing and, as laid out, a little incoherent. Could you kind of divide it up more clearly into what is part is this persons comments, and which are yours? Also, if you highlight what part is problematic for you or that you have a specific question about, that would be helpful too.

Hi, I was wondering how I should respond to an email? My friend John is part of a group called The Twelve Tribes and sometimes sends me e-mail about it. Recently he sent me an e-mail that put down the Catholic faith. I responded to him that Jesus teaches us to be tolerant of others religious beliefs. He sent me the below text in brackets:

Jesus criticizes “the 7 churches” in the book of revelation chapter 2 and 3

As I have a hard time understanding Revelation. Is John correct that Jesus criticizes 7 churches? Is the Catholic Church one of them? I am lousy at apologetics and would appreciate your help.
