I am writting this message once against to the readers to know the clear situation in Sudan about christians’ faith.
Two days ago some foreign members in khartoum were speak about Justice ; in practice faith , culture.yes this can be in the south but in the north nothing implemented. forinstance,in my parish “Sennar” with the evidence, the government of the ruling party used christians of their party to own the land of the church and let the church to divid it self among its faithful.the goverment also increas the payment of water in our kindergarten for the poor children. I the media we only enjoy in the south but in the north only Slamic culture.:o
So Shame to those who said Sudan is the Just country in practice culture. we are here, now and today writting aletters asking our land wich had taken by the government without disscusion.

I think you will find that few people believe that the current government in Sudan is just or even-handed in their treatment of Christians. For example, most of those ejected from their homes and victimized in Darfur are Christian.

Our prayers are with you. I, for one, wish the USA and the UN would take more direct action.
 
Today we are celebrating the feast of St. Joseph husband of Mary, wec were trying to invite brother muslim to have supper with us. those muslim who their original were southerner, some of them were with us during the supper.we ask st. Joseph to in terced for them.
I would also asked you to prayed so that situation may become betterv in Sudan, especially in the northern part.

rpp, I completely agree with you, but I am going to play devil’s advocate.

How could interference in the internal affairs of Sudan be justified under Catholic Just War doctrine? How would Khartoum’s Arab Muslims view such a move? Wouldn’t we be accused of starting another Crusade to rescue Christians from peace loving Islam?

Speaking of Khartoum’s Arab Muslims, are not the black Muslims of southern Sudan also victims of aggression from the north? Sounds like there might be a racial component in Khartoum’s Arab Muslims’ treatment of black citizens in southern Sudan.

So, I guess you do not care about wholesale murder and rape. Well good for you! You are are a real humanitarian. You should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. If you win, you would not be first person who supported genocide who won it.

That you suggest that the Catholic Church would not consider genocide a reasonable motivation for a just war is not only anti-Catholic, but… Well, I will not stoop to your level top describe your attitude or suggestion any further.
 
I know that I would fight my own “crusade” for those in Uganda and Sudan, but don’t count on any governments sending troops. It is unfortunate, but governments look for what they can get in return for fighting a war. Sudan does not have many resources that interest the West and therefore there is no real reason to fight. Some may disagree with me, but it really comes down to this. What is needed is true revolutionary action by the people, which is difficult because of the tribal environment. Sudan is a difficult situation because Christianity is a minority, so the only thing one can hope for is that the authorities will be just and equal. Many of the rebel groups, such as the LRA, need to be taken out of the equation and those who persecute Christians need to be dealt with the same way everyone else is. Prayer is great, but there needs to be action. It seems most people just throw money at the problem and hope it goes away, but that doesn’t work. These persecuted peoples need our support.

No, Arafat was the first person to support genocide and win the Nobel Peace Prize.

I was playing devil’s advocate, rpp, I was asking questions that will be thrown at the US if we became involved. Remember Somalia? I care for the people of Sudan. But how do you propose the Church pull this rescue mission off? Will the US be its surrogate?
 
Anotherv lies apear in news papers that , the government of Sennar state have given 410 pieces of land to the southerners as their right as Sudaness. as I am here nothing is happen of that Kind. perhabs the government of Sennar State use the unlearned person who is a southerner to be spokment for the social afairs for Sennar State. How Can some one who did not finish basic school be in that office. the man was called Sericio Legge Lado who have nothing About Education.
