Praying very hard for your cousin and her precious baby! God bless her for chosing life!

An heroic decision - May The Lord bless her and her child…and bring her father to understanding and to Peaced…Keeping each of them in daily prayer…

Keeping your cousin, her unborn child, and her Father in continual prayer, Ana. May God watch over them all, bringing love and forgiveness, and his divine guidance to their hearts. :gopray:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Please tell her about the Women’s Care Center of the Heartland.

It is here in Omaha and is a residential facility that cares for pregnant mothers.

My husband and I got involved with it from the moment of it’s ‘conception’ when somebody said that we should put this old abandoned and empty convent to good use. It took many years and a lot of money and sweat equity from hundreds of people, but it is open, alive, and doing well!

God Bless,

I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and wanted to update on the situation and assure you of the efficacy of your prayers.

My cousin is beginning her first trimester, and is excited to find out the sex of her baby. She is showing all the signs of being an exceptional mother. She is eating healthy and is displaying an awesome maturity. She is seeking information and using what she finds to make educated choices concerning decisions to be made for baby’s sake, once he or she arrives. I am sooooooooo proud of her!! This darling young woman, has had some terrible trials in her life. She shows a tenacity of spirit that has, and will continue to serve her well. Did I say I was proud of her?😃

If I could only get her to Church.🙂

Her mother has fallen head over heels in love with her soon to be grandchild and has been extremely involved with the expectant joy and baby preperations with her daughter. I am so happy for her. She is seriously psyched and is now very supportive of her daughter’s decision. I believe that many of her fears have been reassured, and she is now free to revel in her new and upcoming role as grandmother.🙂

Her father is still standing firm in his decision to not have anything to do with the father, or his grandchild. He is still in need of prayer, and I am full of hope that this little baby will help to melt his hardened heart.

Thank you all again, for the prayers. I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have such a powerful prayer support.

I love you guys.:grouphug:

Laura, thank you for the link. I am so glad for people like you who bring the expression of the pro life movement to life through action and in concrete ways. I feel that if we are calling mothers to make the choice of life, we have an obligation to help them do so. Thank you Jesus, for people like Laura and her husband.❤️

I have prayed the prayer to St. Gerard that was previously posted for this young woman and her child. May Our Mother of Life protect them!

Praying for Mother Mary to watch over them.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Thank you again everyone. The father is showing signs of his heart softening towards his daughter.

Her mother made her favorite soup yesterday, and when he found out it was for his daughter, he took a carrot and put it in the soup saying how much she loves carrots. Sounds like a little thing, but it is big.

AND he met her and her mother for dinner today at a restaurant. He didn’t say anything about the baby, but she said she saw him look more than once at her growing belly, and when they left he hugged her and told her he loved her!!🙂

This family has been through so much. They lost her older brother and only sibling to suicide years ago. Things have been VERY difficult for them.😦

I pray that this baby may be a vehicle of the love and healing this family so desperately needs.

Hail Mary full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art though among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners.
Now and at the hour of death.
Amen

Ana,
Your last post sounds encouraging! Hooray! Small steps can always lead to bigger steps. I’ll keep praying along with the rest of us here! God bless you!🙂

I included the young woman and her family in my Rosary on my walk this morning… It is encouraging to hear the good news.

I’m glad I saw your signature! It’s making me re-think some games my kids play! Thank you!

He told her she can come home!!:extrahappy:

Thank you Jesus, you hear all of our prayers. Thank you for continuing to soften the hearts in this family. Continue to grace them with your healing love, so that this baby will be welcomed into this world by ALL of the members his/her family to be. May this baby be welcomed in joyful expectation and love. As this baby grows, may all in the household benefit from those simple reminders of great Truths that only babies and children can bring. May all the members of this family be brought closer to You, that God’s will may be fulfilled in them and in the whole world. Amen.

And thank YOU, my CA friends. Thank you so much.:grouphug:
