I have had a very difficult day. My friend Helga told me to continue on with my Novena’s that they are so very powerful. Had she not said those words I wouldn’t have today - because it hasn’t felt like my prayers are being heard or answered.
Keep praying!!! Prayer is powerful. Thank you Helga!

May God’s peace find a place of rest in your soul. Never give up on Him, for He will never give up on you. He loves you more than you can ever know. My prayers are with you tonight, and as long as you need them.
 
I will pray for you. Remember that our Father doesn’t always answer our prayers the way we ask or would like Him to. He is watching over you and walking with you all the way. He knows best and knows what He is doing. You will one time or another have your aha moment and understand. My husband and I have had a rough 6 years with employment, financial and family issues but just when we felt at the edge, God was there to give us grace to pull us up. Don’t lose hope. Don’t despair. It’s all temporary. Mathew 6:25-34 God bless you.

Thank you for your encouragement. I have begun novenas. After being left for another woman - I can only have faith in God’s will in my life and if possible a miricle to bring him back.

look upon me in this time

My prayer for you and your walk with our dear Lord. Life is not always easy, nor was our Lord’s life. We walk often in difficulty, persecution and trial but there is ETERNAL BEAUTY beyond our imagination walking in His path for His glory…Stand strong and hold fast to the faith of our RISEN LORD - Alleluia!!!

Heavenly Father, I know I am close to despair. I feel so tempted to give up, to withdraw from life and religion and let the world simply carry me along.
Everything seems so meaningless and nothing appeals to my better instincts.
Help me to remember that Jesus gave meaning to everything in the world.
Let me bank on that fact and get over this time of despair, to really believe in the depths of my being that there is a reason for living.
Show me the reason for my life and tell me what I must do.
Bring home to me that I am never alone, but that You are with me even in the depths of despair. Remind me that no matter what I may endure now, an unending joy awaits me in the future if I but cling tightly to You and your Son Jesus in the unity of the Spirit.

I have been praying my heart out for the last 8 months - sometimes in church twice a day - saying novenas, rosaries, lighting candles. Nothing. I want to do God’s true and holy will. I have asked for a sign - Nothing. This has been one of the darkest times in my life - and I’m tired. What am I doing wrong that there has been no movement in my life towards an answer or resolution?
PLEASE, PLEASE keep me in your prayers.
 
I lit a candle for you last Sunday, Cathy and will again tomorrow. Keep talking to our Father. Don’t give up. Our Lord is carrying you right now through this roughest time. Keep the faith and don’t lose hope. He will answer you when He feels it is right. God bless you, sister.
 
WOW!!! Thank you so much - I really appreciate your thinking of me. I’m trying to stay focused on the big picture and remember that God has a plan - and it is a wonderful plan.
