Dispensation from vows?

This is sort of an addition to my last question but, would the dispensation of a vow be valid if I forgot to tell the priest the whole situation? He didn’t ask for additional information
 
Trust what your priest told you. If he didn’t ask for additional info, he didn’t need it.
