I’m a Protestant who’s seriously looking to the Catholic Church, and I was wondering, if Sola Fide and Scriptura aren’t biblical, how does one disprove said doctrines? Martin Luther said that Sola Fide and Sola Scriptura are the pillars of the Reformation, in which the church stands or falls. The logic is, if one disproves Sola Fide and Scriptura, then Protestantism will show itself illegitimate and will be invalidated. So again, what’s the defense against Sola Fide and Sola Scriptura?
