It is unfortunate that incidents like this happen during Mass. I also have several experiences and really they were irritating.
I have noticed that many churches have now delegated a specified area for churchgoers with children. This has somehow solved the concern for children playing while the Mass is ongoing. However I believe that attention of adults chatting and talking during Mass should be called outright and be reminded that what their doing is not correct.
