This is a late post but on All Saints Day, (I attend a Catholic High school and I also attended a Catholic prmary) only me and three other children in my entire year attended the mass. I expected everyone too. And last wednesday we got the opportunity to attend trhe Advent service in Metropolitan Cathedral, one of the biggest in the country, and some people turned round to the teacher and said they didnt believe in God and they didnt want to go. I am very disappointed. I hope they see the light.
By the way, on Wednesday me and our choir will be in church late evening singing carols. I am in Harmony and we sing very high pitched 🙂 I cannot wait as I love singing especially hymns!

You are a young person of grace and dignity. Keep them in prayer and we will pray with you and please keep walking forward…you are on the right path!

Sigh…I’m with you.

I’m studying at a Catholic University now and if we have 3 people for Mass, it is considered a good turnout.

Ironically, when I attended a public college, we had a well populated and super-vibrant Catholic Campus Ministry club. Go figure.

Thank you for posting. Your keeping and practicing the faith is a great witness to others. Keep up the good work.

On Sundays or weekdays??? Please not say Sunday… And it is Sunday, I pray they are simply attending a different Church or Chapel…

Hi fAitH_virtue,

Good for you for going to church outside of school.

Just pray for your classmates, and keep setting an example for them.

I think that it is great that you are in choir, too. I loved singing in choir.

God Bless You. 🙂

I totally understand your disappointment. Please do not loose faith!! God sees what you are doing and your choices and pray for those who do not understand. I am so proud of you, but more so is the smile on the face of God:)

Blessings and stay strong in faith,
mlz
