Disturbing dream after praying

Hey guys,

last week I read about the rosary of liberation. I prayed it for the first time Friday night because I thought that there certainly are things I could get liberated from. Before I closed my eyes, lying in bed, I prayed the Our Father. Usually I don’t remember my dreams but I’ll never forget this dream. I can still see almost every scene of that dream when I think about it. I was at a party and suddenly felt strange. I looked at my arm and saw something moving under my skin causing my veins to look red and blue and just hideous. I ran outside, screaming and begging for help. Nobody helped me.
My aunt then told me to ask the woman outside the house who belonged to some kind of food delivery service. I ran outside and saw a very kind looking women with a cross around her neck. She looked inside my arm (the skin was already opened) and pulled a strange looking creature with several legs outside. I can’t remember what its name was (it wasn’t a normal animal) but she just said “ah that’s not uncommon”. But there was more. There were also several snakes inside my arm which she pulled outside. I was just like WTF when I saw her calmness and determination. I thought I’d die and she was just like “well, happens to a lot of people.”

The snakes tried to bite me as we pulled them out of my body but they didn’t succeed.

I returned to the party and met a guy. Actually he looked like an actor I feel really attracted to. I don’t want to write his name because it’s kinda weird. He seemed… evil. He was really nice to me but mean to others even when I tried to calm him down. He somehow tried to seduce me (not sexually - it’s hard to explain and I don’t remember our exact conversation.).

So… this dream haunts me in my thoughts. Especially the timing of it… immediately after my first liberation rosary prayer. What do you think could it mean? Maybe it was just a silly dream which means nothing but it doesn’t feel like that.
Maybe Jesus heard my prayers and did free me from something “evil” what has been inside me… I don’t know I mean I didn’t feel possessed or something. And maybe the attractive man was a symbol for the devil? As I usually don’t remember my dreams I don’t have much knowledge about dream symbols etc.

But what is responsible for our dreams? Most people think that dreams are subconscious messages or something like that but sometimes it’s hard to believe that

Snakes and such are a common Biblical symbol for sin or demons.

One evening after work, I took a nap and had a dream. I was praying the Rosary, and I saw a sinner who had been away from the Church a long time making his Confession, and then I saw the Grim Reaper, come to claim the sinner’s soul before he was absolved. The Grim Reaper swung his scythe, but it was too short to reach the man. He took a step closer, but fell to his knees. Rising, he took another step, and was now well within range. He readied his scythe, but before he could swing it, he was struck down by light.

All I can add is I hate snakes. If I dream something that included snakes, I’d wake up and not go back to sleep that night.

That’s why I thought that my dream looked and felt like some kind of exorcism. So if it’s supposed to mean something, I’ll take that as a good sign.
But it’s most likely that it was just a projection of my fears.

The dream you had sounds intense as well. But good for the sinner in this case that he found the way to God.
