The Iglesia ni Cristo believes that the task of understanding God’s words in the Bible, and teaching them without alteration, without adding or diminishing, are given exclusively to the messengers of God (Mark 4:11-12; Romans 10:15; Deuteronomy 12:32).

We believe that the late Brother Felix Y. Manalo was God’s last messenger; he was the fulfillment of the Biblical prophecies concerning the messenger from the Far East (Revelation 7:2-3) who would preach to God’s sons and daughters in these last days (Isaiah 43:5-6; 46:11; 41:9-11). God reveals the meaning of His words to His messengers by means of the Holy Spirit (II Peter 1:20-21), and the proof that the messengers were taught by the Holy Spirit of God is that their teachings never contradict one another (I Corinthians 2:13).

The INC is a deviant cult here in the Philippines who deny the divinity of Christ and are simply a group out to make money and control people. They even tell their followers who to vote for!

It is sad to note how a “religious” organization bearing the name of Christ would deny the divinity of the second person of the Blessed Trinity. Yes the Iglesia ni Cristo has been existing in the Philippines for decades now and has spread in other countries. They even have their own TV station here in the country. Sometimes it’s pointless to argue with religious fanatics and hardline fundamentalists because it really gets us nowhere. I am simply amazed at how fanatics stick to their beliefs even if we Catholics can confidently show that in Scripture, Jesus is indeed the Son of God. I can only pray for these people that when judgment day comes Christ the Judge will be truly merciful.

This is a very scary cult that has unfortunately caught on in popularity in the Philippines. They are VERY anti-Catholic.
If you search the forum, I think it has been covered quite a bit. I think there is even a well known debate between a Catholic apologist and Felix floating around somewhere out there.

We need to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Philippines whose faith is being targeted by the devil via this cult.

Denying the divinity of Christ should be enough. That should do it. Teaching the opposite of what Christ taught.
