How do we know about Jesus’s Divine and Human Will and how do they work together in one person?

We know Jesus claimed to be the Son of God but He also prayed:
“Father, if it be Thy Will, take this cup away from me; yet not **my **will but Thine be done!”
We cannot fully understand the hypostatic union but the distinction between His Divine and Human Will must be related to the fact that He was not omniscient while on earth:
“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father…”

Well, we see that Christ was quite literally God and for the Father and the son to be one and both be God they would have to want the same things and wish the same things to be in such perfect communion that they are literally one. But Jesus is also a human 100% completely man. That means that his spirit also gained a human will. So, really it can be compared to what happens to our souls when joined with a body. Our souls don’t really need a hot dog, they don’t need a glass of water, because our souls are spirit and don’t need these things. Likewise Christ gained human wants and instincts and needs like our souls, once they are become one with a human body. So, at times like when Christ was saying if it be your will let this cup pass, this was due to his human nature and that we have the instinct and will to survive. So, he was in fear of death. However, since he was God, Christ went through with it. He suffered even though his human nature, his body was telling him to run, to use his powers to stop this. Inside of Him, his human nature was probably screaming You truly are God, remove yourself from this cross.
This is just in response to the part about “even the Son doesn’t know the hour”, I truly think that this part is confusing. I think that maybe this part was obscurred from Christ. I would think that Christ might have volunteered to maybe not know. However, this is still confusing since we believe in his omniscience. It could be because of Eternity and since God is the one to make the choice, only the Father has foreknowledge of when that is to specifically occur while Christ only knows of it while it is occuring. Maybe Christ is in total reliability to the Father and relies on Him to give any and all information but still elected to not know this information. If anyone has a better explanation or any ideas, I would really like to hear it so pm me or write a response

The fact that Christ had a human brain and was constrained by a physical body implies that He was not omniscient while He was on earth. It is impossible to know precisely to what extent His knowledge was limited nor is it important. What matters is that He chose to become like us in all things but sin because He loves us and liberates us from our ignorance, weakness and lack of love for others - if we respond to His love…

At the very least He had to be selective because our human thinking is discursive and our body is located at a specific point in time and space. The Catholic Encyclopedia further teaches, as I have now found, that Jesus’s human nature was infused with knowledge above the angels and that his ability to learn by experience merely confirmed what he had already known through the previous infusion.Ok great explanation. Needless to say, Jesus was and is, far more intelligent than the most intelligent men.
As for him not knowing the judgement day, it says that either he didn’t want to say when that day would come, or that his human nature doesn’t know, or that the Son doesn’t have any knowledge that was not given to him by the Father, and this applies to his knowledge of the end of the world. So those are Jesus’s answers.
But yes his human knowledge could not be infinite since the human soul can’t be infinite in the depths of its knowing.

I always took Jesus’ reply to the end of the world question in the same way as when your parents tell you something is none of your business.

Oh I know since people would just misbehave since they would “have the time” to repent or so they would think. A lot of people tend to forget that God knows our hearts and thoughts so when you plan on tricking God the truth is you already lost.He knew it wouldn’t be in our interest to know!
