Can someone explain to me the method used to come up with the calendar used to go through the book with the current liturgical calendar?

& while you can import the calendar to your google calendar, does anyone know how to import it to an apple calendar?

I don’t know the method behind the calendar, but as for your import question, it looks like only the Google option is available. You can do that, then either sync with your Apple calendar or export from Google and import that to Apple.
