Hi,
This is just a small question about the chaplet: if I pray the chaplet several more times during the day, do I pray the “introductory prayers?” By analogy, if I pray more mysteries of the rosary, I’ll just continue throughout the day with the appropriate decades, omitting the creed/Our Father and 3 Hail Marys…should I do the same with the chaplet? Or maybe I have it all wrong to begin with.

I usually do the complete Chaplet of Divine Mercy each time, not sure about the other ways to do it. I have done that with the rosary, though, on occasion, done say, up to 4, without repeating the initial prayers. After 4, I consider it a complete rosary, then repeat the initial prayers.

In short. There is really no wrong way to pray.

If you are looking for some sort of specific indulgence then look it up and do it how they ask.

The Divine Mercy chaplet only has three introductory prayers.

One Our Father.
One Hail Mary.
One Apostle’s Creed.

Yes say them each time you start the chaplet.
