After being overwhelmed by the Diary Of Saint Faustina we recite the Chaplet Of Divine Mercy daily
In diary entry 1320 Jesus asks
“At three o’clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners. And, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony”
I have assumed “My abandonment at the moment of agony” to be when Jesus cried out from the cross “My God, My God why have you abandoned me?” and this is the moment I try to immerse myself in
I have recently read that quoting Psalm 22 on the Cross was not really a question expressing a true feeling that the Father had abandoned Him.
If that was not Jesus’ “abandonment at the moment of agony”, when else would it be? His agony in the garden?
