Hello Everyone,
I was readying about the Divine Mercy Chaplet, something that I have just recently been exposed to. I had heard of it before, but never took the time to research it.
I want to get your thoughts on it.
Also, in Sr. Faustina’s Diary, when she records Jesus’ words…
These two rays issued forth from the depths of My tender mercy when My agonized Heart was opened by a lance on the Cross. agonized Heart was opened by a lance on the Cross.
I was wondering what this meant exactly for the autonomy that we as Christians usually consider in the passion. We are always taught that Christ was pierced on his side by a lance, not through the heart.
do we consider that his “agonized Heart” is represented by all blood that flows through it (which is all blood)? If so I can understand, otherwise I’m just trying to find a grounding here.
Do any of you say the Divine Mercy Chaplet?
