Hi all!
It’s been a little while since I posted. Just wanted to give an update. I haven’t been to Mass in months, and haven’t confessed in years, experiencing spiritual sloth, even though my prayers were answered time and again. Last night I picked up something my cousin handed me, a leaflet. A woman had given it to him on the street months ago he gave it to me because I was ‘‘into all that Catholic stuff’’. It was the chaplet and novena to the divine mercy. I thought it was worth a shot so I prayed for the courage to go to confession and to live a Christian life with a burning faith and sincere desire for God.
The moment I made the request I felt a burning in me, literally. I feel renewed. I felt such a peace during the chaplet that I have not felt in so long. This morning I got up and I wanted to pray. I found myself over the course of the day praying ‘‘For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world’’. Anyone who has not prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet I dare you to do it and not be changed!
I know I have the courage to go to confession and seek reconciliation with God now and God willing daily Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, The Most Holy Rosary, the Bible of course and everything else I have missed out on by separating myself from Jesus’ Church. Pray for me that this courage and faith remains with me brothers and sisters, I will pray the same for all of you
Just thought I should share
God Bless you all!
