I often hear about Divine Monarchy especially when the subject pertains to the filique issue.

How are we going to understand Divine Monarchy?

Is there delineation of tasks among the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit?

Are there tasks the Father should do that the Son and the Holy Spirit should not do? So on…

In short - No.

The Trinity is One God and therefore when one “person” of the Trinity is present, the entire Trinity is present. When one “person” of the Trinity acts, the entire Trinity acts.
While we humans may have “divided” up the tasks, that would only be due to our limited understanding and need for such deliniation.

Peace
James
