Well, the AB would be better, but stick with the Catholic printings. Here is a review of the Latin/English Monastic Diurnal from St. Michael’s Abbey Press that I wrote back when I first got it. I have been using it ever since and it fits relatively well with the 62 Roman Calendar (which I am attached to)

Surely the Baronius Press breviary reprint is near release. Word was, back in the spring, they were shooting for Fall '08.

Whichever edition of the Monastic Diurnal (which is the Benedictine or Monastic office, NOT the Roman Secular office) you get, I would recommend ordering Andrewes Press’s MONASTIC MATINS to get ALL the Benedictine office.

I see there are two editions of the Monastic Diurnal , which one would you get?.

**I happen to have a copy of the original Oxford edition (an Anglican translation republished by Andrewes Press) in sight, though I actually recite the Byzantine office (or as much of it as I can).

This edition is in English only, though it has music for it, based on the original Latin chant.**
