Note the heirarchical nature of the message’s authority : see also verses 1-12 where the nature of those who oppose God is revealed

good work: It includes the fruit of the Holy Spirit lived out in the life.

May the peace that only comes through Jesus draw you ever closer to Him, so that you will see that the infinite personal God of the Universe, who delights in all of His creation - bound as it is - will draw you to see that the only sure means of grace to live that life (verse 17) is through the sure means he has given: the church of the apostles and scriptures.
