This past week I received my Decree of Nullity in the mail, so I’m feeling similarly overwhelmed. I will say that the annulment process allowed me to carefully scrutinize myself, my ex and the development of our relationship and provided a lot of insight I hadn’t previously taken the time to discern. No, I don’t have the answer, but I have information that has helped me gain understanding of myself, him and what was wrong in the marriage. There’s value in that. And grief. God bless you.

I got my Final Decree of Divorce today. I’m nauseous and embarrassed. My wanna lay in the fetal position and kinda be there for an extended period of time. Oh, Lord.

My heart is with you. I’ve walked in your shoes and I know the pain you feel. If it helps, have a look at Romans 5… you will emerge stronger and you WILL persevere. Sometimes, only God knows why, but we go through trials and sufferings that will break our hearts, but as Psalm 34:18 states: The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. It’s an old adage and sounds cliche, but God and time *will *heal you.

If you ever need to talk, I am here for you. The pain will eventually subside, and there will be a day that you will feel the blooms again in your life.
