A friend of mine was married to a nominally abusive man. She divorced him, had several affairs, got pregnant, married the father of that child, then divorced HIM. She is now seeking an annulment from her first marriage. She badly wants to come back into the church. My question is, if she is currently living chastely, can she go to confession and come back to communion?

From the minimum of information you gave it sounds like she can, but I strongly suggest she talk to a priest personally before going to confession.
