It’s pretense, not pretence.
So just to be clear and I bet this is elsewhere - in order to join a community of women, a convent, and take vows and so on, I have to get an annulment from my 2year 10 month marriage- no Catholics involved in any way - from over 40 years ago, even though I did not convert until 10 years ago? And also from the other mistake, no catholics involved, from 30years ago , tho if the 1st one ws “not valid” is the 2nd one not invalid also? This is INSANE.
My serious problem wih this is why does the church hijack our lives for YEARS over what is essentialy paperwork? I saw one person in here in her 3rd year of waiting. the Tribunal lady I have said not to look for it for 2 years. That just seems wrong, really wrong, to hold up somebody’s life for YEARS when they want to serve.
