I suggest calling the parish, or better yet introducing yourself to the priest at mass and asking for an appointment.

Definitely not a bad idea. I really have no idea what I’m doing, so there’s that 😛

It’s busy this time of year. And as the person who monitors our parish mailbox, I get stuff in the spam folder and I don’t check it every day. So it might get overlooked.

I know stuff like that happens, so I’m not super concerned about it. After the holidays, I’ll prob stop by for mass and check it out

As others have suggested, make an appointment with a priest and talk it over with him. There are a lot of variables that need to be taken into consideration and he will need to consult with a tribunal more than likely.

My prayers are with you.

Go and ask for an appointment. Meet face to face and explain. It will either be with him or someone like the marriage tribunal rep.

It’s a good chance to introduce yourself Are you looking at getting married again?

I would love to get married again. I’m 42 and feel like I’ve missed out on the joys of parenthood and certainly don’t want to experience parenthood as a “baby daddy”.

If the couple was married in a church/temple/chapel before God then the Catholic Church would consider it a valid marriage. The individual converting to Catholicism would need to seek an Annulment in order to remarry again!
