nothing to do with me personally, but i read about a communion ban for divorced people, though this rule isn’t all clear to me because rightaway theres all this talk about remarriage and stuff.
simply, if one’s marriage is ended, the priest will refuse giving him/her communion?
specific situation (if it matters):
man - roman catholic - divorced - not remarried - (later: has new partner/relationship and child, but doesn’t marry)
i assume you guys give the answer benedictus would give (not some rare american interpretation or whatever)
