Yeah. My wife tells me I’m a bit obsessive about washing it. I normally wash it once or twice a week. Irish weather is great at getting cars muddy. Polishing once a month keeps it shiny though.

Flipping through youtube and found a list off top 5 cars that want to kill you…Of course my Blazer was on the list.The track and height on the trailblazer is much better.
When clean my little Blazer looks rather sharp for what it is. With 230k km on it and 21 yrs of being outside the paint still looks pretty good no bubbles in it or holes in the body.
If you wax it once or twice a month the wax creates a protective coat over the paintwork.
Also the car-wash brushes you can get don’t damage paint.
I fixed my other problem…the engine noise and low mpg. Just changed the air filter and ran a fuel additive through the system. Then sped down the highway at 100kph in 3rd gear. MPG is back up to about 45-50mpg.
