I hear 10’s of thousands of Muslims convert to the Catholic Church all over the world each year but it must be kept quiet for fear of death. Does any one know more about this?

Muslim leaders have publicly said that they loose about 6mil Muslims to Christianity every year. They are mostly from Africa. If I were them, I’d convert too. Look who bring all the aid when disaster strikes? Yup, it is the evil Christian.

Islamic growth rates are higher than us, but since there are many more Christians than Muslims, more Christians are being added every year than Muslims.
I just read the stats in Christianity Today magazine. I’ll see if I can find an online link. I read it in the paper magazine.
Of course, just as Catholics count entire families, many of which may not be observant, Muslims also count ‘cultural Muslims’ that are Muslim only by tradition, not by conviction.
Hence the higher growth rate since birth rates in Muslim countries far exceed Christian birth rates.

Even with threats aside, its still more likely for a catholic to convert to islam than for a muslim to convert to catholicism. Because muslims are trained from a young age to practically equate the trinity doctrine to satanism, while christians are encouraged to respect islam and to see it as something that has elements of truth.

Around 15,000 Muslims each year are converting to Christianity - around 10,000 to Catholicism and 5,000 to Protestantism. Many Muslims in France hide their conversion but the trend is continuing. World wide around six million Muslims a year convert to Christianity.

The above is a link to a Reuter’s report (video) that apparently claims 6 million muslims convert to Christainity each year. I say apparently because I don’t have speakers at the office and I was only able to read the blurb.
Of course, the 20 million or so who are advocating for the destruction of the West probably aren’t in the conversion line.

A much more reliable method of assessing the growth of Islam in the community would be to individually ask all of one’s relatives and friends.
Chances are that there are now a number of “closet Muslims” among them… if indeed they are not already openly declaring themselves.

Plus, the reason Catholics or Protestants are converting to Islam because it’s mostly out of the curiosity. Not knowing that Islam is like Hotel California, once you check in, you can’t never check out.
