Do Adam and Eve prove creationism?

I’m in a discussion regarding God creating man -vs- evolution. I was asked (below)…what would be the answer?

the bible states that adam and eve were the ‘first’ man and woman, not the ‘only’

the bible also names the spouses of their children, so these people had to come from somewhere.
