I searched the thread and found a few references to this but nothing that comes close to what I was looking for.

Do all Christains believe in the Nicene Creed? Which creed is it? From 325 or 381? I am not a history buff so please be nice. I really dont want this to devolve into an arguement about the meaning of the creed. Just belief in the creed.

Thanks in advance.

Some Protestants are “non-creedal”…while they may not have too many objections with the beliefs stated in the creeds…they would not recite the creeds in their worship experiences.

The Society of Friends do not use creeds, “historical” or “modern”.

All Christians confess the Nicene Creed, although some may not realize that they do and some may believe much of it very dimly, and what belief there is sustained quitely by the merciful Holy Spirit.
