I also assume not, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. It does seem awfully strange that a religion that seems to have so much in common with the concept of Angels (my fiance is Japanese, and I’ve actually used Shinto beliefs to help explain the concept of Angels) would have a believer who disbelieves in the possibility of Angels.
