Do Angels have sentience (emotions, personal thoughts, etc.)

Can an Angel have an opinion? Do they have friends, thoughts, emotions, preferences, or are they sort of like automatons that do exactly the will of God and absolutely nothing more (standby until “activated”). If Michael, per se–wasn’t on-duty during a period in Heaven, could He roam around and interact with the population? Does Michael think thoughts or have views on us Humans? Do Angels ever ask God to reconsider decisions (even if they’d fulfill them)?

How far does the free will of an Angel go? How much control do these beloved beings have over themselves?

One day, I hope to be involved in making a major motion picture about the Great Battle in Heaven. I imagine they have all the emotions we do but are obviously more mature. The demons are angry, resentful, and Lucifer was obviously prideful. The good Angels are usually very composed but they’re usually on the clock when we see them. They’re seen praising God so I assume they’re joyfully happy. My guess is that during their initial test and subsequent battle to drive out Satan there was probably quite a bit of emotion going on. Now that they’ve entered the beatific vision, they wouldn’t question God.
