If you are a priest, what is your reaction/comments to the many recurring topics here? (Beasring in mind that probably 50% of the threads here dwell on the same 25 recurring topics.)

If you are not a priest, then what do you think your priest’s reaction/comments would be?

I am no priest nor will I ever be, most likely. I would say most Priest must say wow there are that many hard core catholics who care that much about (insert topic, we know what they are). And boy their alot of people out there fighting scrupolosity

I’m not a priest. I’m a woman.

I think that my priests would be glad that many people love the Lord so much that they are concerned that the Mass be done correctly and reverently. They would examine their practices and make corrections if they have allowed things to slip. And I think they would apologize to us, their congregation, if they have changed the liturgy.

I also think that the priests that I know would wonder if the people who spend so much time on this forum arguing about rules also spend time out in the world performing corporal works of mercy. I think they would grieve over the lack of love that is sometimes demonstrated on this Forum, especially when sarcasm is used.

After all, the Lord Jesus made it clear that He is more concerned with obeying the spirit of the Law rather than the letter of the Law. And St. Paul wrote that no matter how much knowledge we have, without love, it matters not.

I wonder how many priests, especially parish priests, have the TIME to browze here.
