Do Catholics need to believe in the Era of Peace?

For 300+ years the church could not produce a convincing argument against it.
Solution: outlaw it.
 
More accurately there’s a period of peace. Not some Heavenly peace or dream peace. Actual honest to God worldwide peace and cooperation. Europe is supposed to be united after the minor chastisement. There’s also supposed to be a final Church council and many saints living throughout the world.
