Do people want Jesus to come back? Most Catholics would agree 110%. I know I do, but can I say the same for people on CAF?

Are you sure? I feel like I need to ask everyone on this website, including the administrators for some proof. Are you saying all, #all Catholics on CAF?

Well, I got concerned after reading this article: ‘Hitler please come back’: new Nazi controversy rocks troubled AfD.

I feel like people don’t really want Him to come back. Instead, they want that other guy to comb back instead.

Well, I also haven’t slept in the past thirty six hours, so it’s difficult to say.

Why?
Why is this any of your business?
We Catholics believe in the Resurrection of Jesus and of souls.
I’m not sure why you believe that we somehow are not faithful.

What a bizarre thread.

Jesus is one with YHWH. His return is the same as the Great Day of the Lord. Scripture warns us about this Day, that it will be a day of sorrow.

Luke 12:49

I have come to bring a fire to the earth and how I wish it were blazing already!

Luke 21:34-35

. . . that Day will be sprung suddenly on you like a trap. For it will come down on every living man on the face of the earth.

That “other guy” never combed back, he parted his hair in the middle or thereabouts. 🤓

Edit: I stand corrected. He parted way over on the extreme left side; which was, from his perspective, the extreme right. Perfectly in line with his ideological perspective that was far left, but from his point of view, far right.

Are we sure? Give you proof?

Really? What is your point in posting this? It is really none of your business to be asking anyone for proof, as if there is some way of measuring that anyway.

Get some sleep, you are being kind of nonsensical.

Definitely. The sooner the better, but I don’t want to be alone when he does. Too overwhelming in a good way.

Proof of what? That we want Jesus to return? No one can offer you proof of his or her desires. I want to win the lottery, too because I want to help my own family, friends, the poor, and animals in need, but I can’t offer you any proof of that desire.

I agree it is bizarre thread. Howver, it is all of our business, or else the Church would not have us all publicly proclaim it every Sunday as part of the Creed.
To the OP:. Why would you doubt Catholics are being truthful every week when saying the Nicene Creed. That seems quite strange and uncharitable to assume that many of us lying every week.

Yes and no. The longer Jesus postpones, the more he can come into people’s hearts before it’s too late.

Yes, in the sense of actually seeing a miracle happen effectively removes the need for faith.

No, in that it would signify ‘the end’. I want to continue the struggle of my daily life, not have the calendar come to an end 🙂
