Do Catholics worship Mary?

It seems that the word worship can mean, adulation of a rock band or football team, but why aren’t there warnings about worshiping angels, saints and Mary for us Catholics? Isn’t it a sin to worship anything or anyone in place of God?
What is the definition of worship & how can we worship Jesus and only honor or ask for intercession of saints or Mother Mary without it leading to an addiction or a idolatrous worship in place of Jesus/Trintiy? :confused:
