No.
It’s like saying do American Indians worship totem animals, rocks, trees. American Indians honor those things but worship the Creator.
Same here. Catholics don’t worship the Pope! The reason for all the attention Pope Francis is getting is that he is part of a line of succession that started with the apostle Peter. People want to have that connection to ground zero-when Christ Himself walked the earth. It’s more of a connection versus worship.

So,
if I don’t know what I believe,
how do I know if someone else says they believe,
that I believe what I don’t know,
what they really believe?
Maybe, what they think (but I don’t know that) I believe
is what they desperately want to believe,
But they don’t know it?
Huh?
😛
 think I will go say my payers carefully with my eyes shut (that won’t work because technically I will be seeing the back of my eyelids or just black) and go to bed. Oh dear, this theological discussion has gone into lala land. :doh2::hypno::gopray:
Mind if I join you in those prayers?

I don’t get it:shrug:

Last I publicly heard from non-Catholic Christians claimed and prophesized that President Reagan, Mikel Gorbachev were the anti-Christ, then it was claimed by non-Catholic Christians that the kids show Tele-Tubbies and Barney the dinosaur where the anti-Christ.

Now I’m hearing from these same non-Catholic circles that Pope Francis is the anti-Christ and Catholic’s worship the Pope?

I pray that non-Catholic Christian Church leaders are not spending the Lord’s time on Sunday, preaching another gospel of fear and teaching their audiences such non sense about the Pope and Catholics, when non-Catholic Christian Church leaders should be teaching on the gospel of Jesus Christ love, mercy, grace and salvation.

Is it true, as I am informed by some non-Catholic Christians, that their pastors and teachers teach for weeks from the pulpit, that the Pope is the anti- Christ and Catholics worship the Pope?

Do non-Catholic Christians really buy into this negative false stuff?

Judge not let lest you be judged.

Earlier this year 6 million in the Philippines attended Mass but not only to have a glimpse of Pope Francis but more so to receive the Holy Eucharist. What a beautiful sight it was. :harp:
