Do crosses, figures of saints and the like need to be blessed?

I have crosses and a tiny figurine of Mary next to my bedside. I don’t know if they were blessed by a priest.

If I want to kiss (out of respect, just like to the Bible if it fell to the ground or something) it, would it have to be blessed? I don’t want it to be a sin of idolatry…

I have been anyways. But everytime I feel like I’m sinning if I were to kiss it, I tell myself that a cross is still a holy object and thus doesn’t need to be blessed. Same with Statue of Mary. Although I kiss it out of love/respect less I think.

These objects don’t need to be blessed per se. And if they were, it would not mean the difference between idolatry and respect. If you kiss them out of respect for whom they remind you of, that is not idolatry, regardless of a blessing.
