Do the Eastern Orthodox Church of Ethopia have the Ark of the Covenant?

If so, what is the view of the Catholic Church and other Christian Christian Churches position on this?

This seems the most likely location to me.

After all, there were only three royal houses who worshipped YHVH: Israel, Judah, and Ethiopia.

What they have is a tradition that claims it is the Ark of the Covenant.

What most people don’t realize is that most of their churches contain a replica of The Ark of the Covenant.

Is one of those “replicas”, the real McCoy? Based on Minoan archaeological evidence, probably not.

We have the Ark of the New Covenant in Heaven. That’s the one which I’m most interested.

Personally, I am a sceptic over the likelihood that it has survived at all.

But if it does still exist in an accessible place, even in fragments, The case for it being in Ethiopia is very strong, so to me it is more likely there.

I don’t think any other church need have a position on the subject.
