If at all possible I would like Father Serpa to answer this one. Thank you. Several months ago I sent money in to have a mass intention said and I asked Father here at church to have it said on a Saturday evening Mass. After checking the bulletin it has been brought to my attention that the Mass will be said on a Sunday morning. Do I have a right to feel angry about this since it was my money used to have this Mass said??? Please let me know something. Thank you.

Hi,

There was probably already a Mass intention for that Mass. When I was a pastor there was no way that anyone could determine when they wanted a Mass offered. We simply had too many Mass intentions for that.

Fr. Vincent Serpa, O.P.
