A friend of mine says that there is no need to go to mass on Sundays, because GOD is every where. I need to help this man so, I need bible verses to help him understand the need to attend mass.

If he is a lapsed Catholic he is going to need more than the Commandment citation to get up and go.
He needs to ask himself if he is really a Catholic or even a Christian.

By not attending Sunday Mass a “Catholic” is telling the Son of God that His Body and Blood which he offers there is of no use, that the Spirit can keep his Graces, that they are not needed… what pride - to say no to the Gift of God and think one can be ok with the lawgiver without obeying his laws…

If your friend is Catholic, then he needs to follow the Catholic Church’s commandments. Talk is cheap. One of the Church’s commandments is to attend Mass on Sundays.

Soon or later, he will go to Church. However, it could be very sad if it will be only for his funeral. Why not going to Church freely?
Furthermore, the Church is God invention. Resisting to God is not really a virtue.

God may be omnipresent, but if Jesus Christ invited your friend over for dinner Sunday, wouldn’t your friend go? What you need to explain to him is that’s exactly what Christ has done in the mass. The mass is our supper with Christ, and it’s a pretty big deal to skip out on dinner with the Son of God without a good reason.

From a wisdom stand point it is simple you become whom you hang out with. If you hang around bad company, you will comprimisde, and in the end compromise your morals. If one hangs out with those who love God and Study his word and pray together, then one will get stronger.
