I have heard that if you are ill, then you are not required to go to Mass.
My question is what if you are just exhausted? I work nights from 6pm to 6am. I also work anywhere from 4 to 6 days a week. My schedule rotates so that some Sundays, I’m off. But sometimes, I work both Saturday and Sunday. I try to go anyway and just lose sleep, but sometimes I’m just way too tired. My job is such that being over tired at work could be dangerous for me and my co-workers. Is this a sin, or is it the same as being ill?
