My sister was baptised Catholic (and received first Confession and Eucharist as a Catholic), but was confirmed as a Lutheran.

Later she married a man in the Lutheran Church. I believe this man was baptised AFTER their marriage.

A couple of years ago they were divorced, and now my sister is dating a man whom she will likely marry in a couple years, outside of the Catholic Church if in any church at all.

Will I have to go to this wedding, or should I not attend? Please explain why in terms of 1) Church discipline on attending weddings, 2) Church discipline regarding formal defectors from the Faith and the marriages they contract, and 3) the validity of the marriage of a defected Church member who marries a non-baptised person outside of the Catholic Church.

Thank you!
