Do I keep this a secret?

Maybe he has a married friend who wants to go away for a week, so he bought them their hotel stay on your card, and they bought your hotel stay on their card – and your DF will make up the difference to them (or they to him) after your honeymoon.

Tricky, right?

You better get a passport.

Because the hotel we’re staying at (for the entire week) is in the states and no where near the border!

Ok:)

Just curious cause I understand you need a passport to go to Canada or Mexico now.

I’d go ahead and tell him, but with joy.

My DH accidentally found out about a Christmas present I got him that I knew he’d *really *love. (Tickets to an event; they called to offer us better seats.) I got home from work that day and got a terrific hug as soon as I walked in the door!

So I didn’t get to wait for Christmas for the delighted reaction. I could live with that. And he got some extra time to brag to his buddies about it.

I’d really rather have it that way than for him to have held it in and acted surprised on Christmas.

There’s my 2 cents, FWIW!

God bless you and your marriage!

I love this!

‘Future Intended’ (as in intended spouse) 👍
I’d thought about that one, but, since intended means one you intend to marry, Future Intended would mean one you are maybe wanting to meet?

What ever happened to plain ole words :0

Best thing, tell him you know, whomever he is 🙂

I post on theknot.com sometimes, and the shorthand for fiance is FI, mother-in-law is MIL, maid of honor is MOH, bridesmaid is BM, etc. DH still stands for dear husband over there, so I thought the rest of the abbreviations would be the same here.
