Do I need an annulment?

I am hoping to begin RCIA soon my question is , I had a child many years ago with an ex. We were never married. I actually raised our child who is now an adult. Years passed by and I did get married to my wife ( both our first marriage) in our Baptist church. In order to become catholic would I need to get an annulment from my ex because we did have a child, even though we never married in any way?
 
An annulment is a decree that says a presumed marriage was never actually valid. Since you were never married there is no marriage to declare null.
