Do I need to confess missing Mass due to illness?

Hello,

If I miss Mass due to illness, is it necessary to go to confession prior to receiving. I do have a chronic illness (52 years of type 1 diabetes) and some days I feel absolutely awful and do not get to Mass. As it happens several times a year without any warning, I do feel guilty about not fulfilling my Sunday obligation.
